Prepare hearty feasts and serve up to your loved ones at the table. While away pleasant evenings together in the inviting lounge, where you can stoke up a second wood burner and find movies to enjoy together on the Smart TV. A WC, utility cupboard and super-king-size bedroom are also downstairs. The bedroom can also be arranged as a twin if discussed in advance and has an en-suite bathroom. Venture upstairs to find your other bedrooms. These include another super-king that can also be made up as a twin, plus a king-size and a double. Wake up to scenic woodland views and a hot bubble bath in the family bathroom or a refreshing shower in the shower room. Spend summer days relaxing in the garden looking out for deer among the trees. Cook on the BBQ or enjoy a stroll through the 270 acres of surrounding farmland.
Head 8 miles into charming Ragland to potter in the shops and see the castle. Tintern Abbey, 8 miles away, beside the River Wye, is also well worth visiting. Plan a day out to Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons National Park, 17 miles from the cottage.
