About this property

Mount Pleasant is a spacious, comfortable holiday home that is ideal for large groups celebrating a special occasion or simply reconnecting. It's just a 5 minute stroll from the sandy beach at picturesque Little Haven, with its three friendly pubs and two cafes. Dogs and children are very welcome so that you can all discover the wonders that Pembrokeshire and the Coastal National Park have to offer.

Mount Pleasant is perfect for large families and groups of friends who appreciate not only its location with driveway parking in Little Haven, but also the amount of space it offers both indoors and out.

It's within easy walking distance of three friendly pubs - The Castle, St Brides and The Swan which means that you can return tired from a long day of fun and not have to cook if you choose not to.

Little Haven is an apt name for this beautiful spot. It is at the southern end of St Bride's Bay in the western part of the Pembrokeshire National Park, a 10-minute walk along the coastal footpath from Broad Haven and an easy drive to both St David's and Tenby. The house enjoys spectacular far-reaching views thanks to its elevated location on Settlands Hill and is directly on the Pembrokeshire Coast Footpath. Although Little Haven and neighbouring Broad Haven are favourites with families who return here year after year with their children and grandchildren, the vast expanse of shoreline has escaped commercialisation and never feels crowded. You can always find a quiet spot to sit and drink in the view, no matter what time of the year you visit.

The national park status has protected and preserved this breath-taking landscape. Start your day on the beach from where you can walk around The Settlands to Broad Haven when the tide is out, stopping to explore the caves and rock pools. Alternatively set out for a clifftop walk along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath, which spans 186-miles and attracts thousands of walkers every year. You can return via a circular route or take the bus to get back home, and if you prefer cycling, then there are plenty of routes for every ability.

Paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking and coasteering are popular activities, and a boat trip around or onto nearby Skomer Island to see the puffins and other sea birds is a treat you won't forget in a hurry. Having so much space at Mount Pleasant allows for spending the day at home, relaxing in the garden with games and a barbecue and fire pit, in summer, or settling down with hot chocolate and a board game in front of the log burner in colder weather.
