Just 4 miles away is the market town of Llanidloes with a small selection of eateries and shops for you to stock up on local produce and get a taste of life as a local. For lovers of wildlife, the Rhayader Feeding Station at Gigrin Farm (19 miles) is well worth a visit to witness hundreds of birds swooping down to feed each day. The farm itself also has a cafe, picnic site and farm trail to be enjoyed.
