This is the ideal property to enjoy a relaxed stay, listen to the wildlife and watch the stars in the clear skies. This is a great place for those wanting to visit the coastal nature reserve of Ynyslas Sands or the dolphins of Cardigan Bay, both of which are within a day trip. It is less than 10 miles to the attractive Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and 13 miles to the market town of Rhayader. Both have an interesting array of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The stunning Elan Valley is located just a couple miles further on, where here you will find the famous red kite feeding station, Welsh Crystal Factory, cycle hire, and a myriad of other outdoor pursuits. Explore the area, whether it be on foot or bicycle. Radnor Forest is nearby and offers spectacular views and routes that can be walked or cycled. Or simply enjoy the multitude of hikes and walks right on your doorstep. The nearby village of Bleddfa offers a country pub within 5 miles.

Lower Farm House is clean, warm and spacious, a liarge old farmhouse located in a wonderful rural area in mid-Wales. Great walks from the door. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing break away. WiFi can be a bit patchy but we managed to watch TV without too much problem. Towels are small and only one per person for the week but with the washing machine we managed. Plenty of toiletries and cleaning products which was good plus a welcome pack of coffee and biscuits. Loved the house and the location, we will be back.

Lower Farm was excellent for us. Nice relaxing place with space for the kids to play. Beds were comfortable and everything you would need if you just wanted to "stay at home".20 minutes to Tesco/Aldi and the local town. Plenty of places to visit within 1 hour. Waking up to sheep and cows was a pleasant change. Would return when the time allows

We loved Lower Farm! We stayed on a wet bank holiday weekend and it was the perfect place to be. The dogs enjoyed the rather muddy walks around the farm and there was enough space for them in the garden too. I especially loved the large entrance hall where I could entertain them until they were dry. We had forgotten their beds but two large cushions were provided, which they took full advantage of. My nieces, who are teenagers, enjoyed every minute. There was ample space around the house for them to be together or apart, often leading to them losing each other! This house was so welcoming and comfortable from the moment we entered and were already talking about when we should return.
