Lovely, characterful detached farmhouse in the heart of Mid-Wales with rolling views of the countryside, situated on a 320-acre working farm. This is the ideal property to enjoy a relaxed stay, listen to the wildlife and watch the stars in the clear skies. This is a great place for those wanting to visit the coastal nature reserve of Ynyslas Sands or the dolphins of Cardigan Bay, both of which are within a day trip. It is less than 10 miles to the attractive Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells and 13 miles to the market town of Rhayader. Both have an interesting array of small shops, cafés and restaurants. The stunning Elan Valley is located just a couple miles further on, where here you will find the famous red kite feeding station, Welsh Crystal Factory, cycle hire, and a myriad of other outdoor pursuits. Explore the area, whether it be on foot or bicycle. Radnor Forest is nearby and offers spectacular views and routes that can be walked or cycled. Or simply enjoy the multitude of hikes and walks right on your doorstep. The nearby village of Bleddfa offers a country pub within 5 miles.

Cottage was lovely, we really felt at home. Was cosy even in the middle of Storm Dave! The views all around the property are incredible. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was great we are able to bring our dog with us. Great value for money we have stayed in much smaller properties for more money that havent been as lovely. Would highly recommend if you want a private secluded get away.

Just returned from a fabulous week at Lower Farm. We where looking to get away from it all where we could relax as a family and that is exactly what we got. The Farm house is huge with plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 small dogs. There was everything we needed and the hosts where on hand if we needed anything. It is a working farm but it never disturbed us and we had the added bonus of snow on a couple of days. It is tucked into the Welsh hills with plenty of stunning views, countryside and calm. The nearby village is a short ride out and has a great supermarket and coffee shops. Overall it was 10 out of 10 for us and perfect.

Great location if you want to get away from it all , surrounded by fields and sheep,. Farm house is spacious and well equipped ,very dog friendly. Fourth time we have been , won’t be our last .
