Nice cottage, beautiful setting. Great facilities such as hot tub and games room. Appreciated the welcome gift - lovely homemade welsh cakes! Wasn't aware before arriving that one bedroom and the games room is seperate from the main house, but this didn't really cause us an isue. The only negative thing I would say is the water presure on the showers was quite poor - again as we only stopped for a weekend wasn't too much of an isue. Thank you for a nice stay.

Overall we had a lovely relaxing stay! The house is lovely and full of character. The garden is fabulous and the hot tub was a nice treat. The garden isn't completely enclosed but was fine for our dog as she's not one to wonder off, but maybe something for others to consider if their dogs like to wander. We did have a few issues with flies during our stay but it was common across the area so not much that could have been done about it. There are a few areas where we felt the house could be improved. One being the floorboards upstairs. These were extremely creaky. Not great if you have a baby that is a light sleeper. I think a toilet in the main bedroom upstairs would have been nice seen as there is a shower in that room and it is rather large. It does feel like the house overall needs a little TLC in areas to truly make it shine. We did find we had to put some of the light bulbs into the light fittings as these had been unscrewed which was odd. Spent the first evening in a very dark living room. Would have been nice to have a separate dining room as we didn't really make use of the table in the kitchen. But that's based on what would have suited us better, and not really something that could be changed. For us we think a location closer to a costal town might have been better for us. With having young children we needed to use the car to get anywhere really and a fair drive away from most things. Although definitely walkable into the town without young children. Would be a tough walk back however as the house is basically right on top of a hill. This does give for the most beautiful views though! And sunsets are amazing! It's a shame you don't get to see the views from the hot tub but understand the bushes block a lot of the wind you get up there. As I say we had a amazing week away so thank you!
