It is situated in a quiet and peaceful area close to the towns of Newtown and Welshpool, which both host an array of shops, bars and restaurants. Nearby are the popular tourist attractions of Powis Castle and Glansevern Hall gardens, both offering a great day out for guests. Tregynon has a village shop and the local area provides lovely walks and cycle trails, castles, mansions and gardens, a variety of outdoor pursuits, four golf courses and visits to Newtown, Welshpool, Ludlow and Shrewsbury.

The cottage is very comfortable and peaceful despite being on a farm. It is in an elevated position looking down on the village of Tregynon. The village offers a Premier store for basics but other amenities are a 20 minute drive to Newtown. Helen, the owner, is lovely and really made us welcome as did Enzo the Pointer who visited us every day

Good welcome by owners. Very clean and comfortable cottage.If you want a quite, peaceful holiday this is the place.Could do with improving the instructions on finding the cottage but owners were very helpful when phoned

We had a lovely Christmas break away here at talog barn. The barn was beautiful, clean and had lovely views of the village tregynon.There was lots of space for our dog luna to run around and made a friend with the families dog, such a lovely dog he is.Would highly recommend a stay here at talog barn. Just so peaceful and lovely with Newtown just 20 mins drive away.
