Forget Me Not Cottage is a quaint and cosy property, offering a peaceful and rural retreat. Guests appreciate the picturesque setting, the warm welcome, and the well-equipped kitchen. The cottage's charm is enhanced by its traditional decor and the presence of wildlife. The garden is secure and ideal for relaxing and stargazing. A car is essential due to the remote location.
The cottage's cleanliness received mixed reviews. Some guests mentioned it could benefit from a more thorough cleaning, noting cobwebs and dust, while others found it clean and cosy despite its rustic nature.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and natural beauty. It is remote and ideal for those seeking isolation, with attractions within driving distance. However, the lack of amenities within walking distance and the necessity of a car may not suit everyone.
Guests found the cottage comfortable, with a cosy living room, warm fireplace, and spacious bedrooms. The presence of games and a secure garden added to the comfort. Some noted uneven floors and the property's old-world charm.
The cottage is well-equipped with kitchen amenities, entertainment options, and a powerful shower. The garden is appreciated, though access through the front door only was a minor inconvenience for some.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome gifts of Welsh cakes, eggs, and drinks, although it's important to note that such gestures are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Lovely place for a few days get away. A little dusty and cobwebby in places, it is an old place so some should be expected. Wood burner lit upon arrival was a treat!

The cottage is in a beautiful location. The host was lovely & very helpful. However there was a strong damp musty smell within the cottage & especially near the staircase. Not pleasant. The garden is beautiful to sit outside. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

Guests need to be more aware that the cottage and area is very rural. The nearest shop is a 1/2 hour drive away just for basics like milk and bread. The owner did gift us some lovely eggs and juice which we were grateful for .However I think they should offer a welcome pack with some basics included. The cottage is old and very picturesque and is prefect for a quiet stay, however it does need a good clean. I can understand the odd cobweb ,but dead flies and spiders hanging all over is not good.
