Overall, the property offers a tranquil retreat ideal for nature lovers, with the positives of the setting and hospitality outweighing the negatives.

Most guests found the cottage clean and inviting, though a few noted it was not particularly clean and mentioned issues such as a full hoover and a dirty kettle.

The location is consistently described as beautiful, peaceful, and ideal for exploring Snowdonia, with lovely walks and scenic views right on the doorstep.

While many guests found the cottage cosy, several reviews mention uncomfortable beds and sofas, with some guests cutting their stay short due to poor sleep quality.

The cottage is generally well-equipped, but guests noted issues such as limited hot water, outdated or broken appliances, lack of grocery storage, and some maintenance needs like dripping taps and worn furniture.

The host is frequently described as friendly, welcoming, and helpful, with thoughtful touches like pre-heating the cottage and accommodating dog owners. While some guests appreciated these gestures, please note that such extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely cottage, beautiful quiet spot, surround by trees, next to farmhouse. run by same people as campsite nearby by river, so can get gate code from them (as I had mobility scooter) , or go over style . It’s a lovely walk right next to house. And other paths , had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Jenny the host was really helpful prior to my stay and post stay. Lovely quiet location near to some lovely places to visit. I loved the enclosed parking, it meant I could let my dog off lead, knowing he'd be safe. There were a few small issues but these were addressed with Jenny, and rectified. I would definitely go back again.
