We stayed at Plas Isaf for two wonderful weeks and simply cannot rate this place highly enough. Ali and Miles have created something truly special. What was once barren land has been transformed into a peaceful retreat where you can slow down, reconnect with nature, and create unforgettable family memories.Having stayed in many holiday homes over the years, we've often found properties that tick some of our boxes. Plas Isaf is the first place that ticked every single one.The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, and if there is ever an issue, Ali and Miles resolve it quickly and without fuss. The living area has been beautifully and thoughtfully designed, instantly creating a sense of calm. There is a fantastic selection of books and family board games, and during our entire stay we never felt the need to switch on the television. For those who enjoy a bit of background music, the sound system can easily be connected to a laptop or tablet. The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The children's room was a particular hit, complete with books and cuddly toys that added an extra special touch. The bathroom features underfloor heating and a generous walk-in shower, providing a little everyday luxury.Outside, the property continues to impress. The sheltered hot tub area includes comfortable seating and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to relax with your favourite music regardless of the weather. There is also a lovely barbecue area with sofas, making it the perfect place to spend long afternoons and evenings. The garden itself is enormous and features a fire pit, with Miles kindly preparing firewood for us. Just when you think you've seen it all, the lower field reveals even more delights. Here you'll meet three alpacas, a sheep, four pygmy goats, and two ponies, all friendly and eager to greet visitors. The pond was another highlight. It is well maintained and thoughtfully fitted with a ladder, making access easy. The water is certainly refreshing, but taking a dip before jumping into the hot tub was an experience we thoroughly enjoyed. Our six-year-old was fascinated by the steam train that passed by each day. As soon as he heard the whistle, he would run to the garden wall to watch it pass. The sunken trampoline was another family favourite, not only for play but also for stargazing. With very little light pollution, the night skies were breathtaking. We were even able to capture photographs of the Milky Way, and spending evenings wrapped in coats, lying on the trampoline and looking up at the stars, became one of our favourite memories. If you are an aircraft enthusiast, you will be thrilled by occasional fly-pasts from nearby RAF Valley. Watching aircraft such as the F-35, Atlas, Hawk, and Texan flying low overhead was an unexpected bonus. Each morning brought simple pleasures: hearing the cockerel crow, watching chickens and ducks wander freely around the garden, seeing the ponies in the lower field, and being warmly greeted by the adorable resident dogs.We came here hoping to escape the noise and pace of city life, and we found so much more than that. Surrounded by stunning scenery, wonderful animals, and the warm hospitality of Ali and Miles, our stay was nothing short of magical. We even came home with the most adorable souvenir of all: our new puppy, Finn.We will most certainly be returning and can't wait to see what Ali and Miles create next on this beautiful little piece of heaven.

We had a great family holiday. The house, and location couldn't have been any better. The scenery was amazing and so tranquil. But the hospitality we received from Mills and Ali went well over anything excepted. The made us feel extremely welcome and made sure we enjoyed every day, giving us tips on local knowledge places to visit , loan of sports equipment nothing was to much. Amazing couple, thanks from all the Hammonds.
