Trem Y Foel is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, secure garden, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the property's peaceful location and its proximity to local attractions. The views and quiet setting make it a recommended stay for those visiting North Wales.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with guests noting it was 'spotlessly clean and tidy'. One minor issue with a hoover's suction was mentioned, but this does not significantly detract from the overall high standards of cleanliness.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and beautiful views, with a short distance to the town and local attractions. However, one review mentioned a lack of nearby parks for dog walking, which suggests the area may not be ideal for all guests.
While the property is generally found to be comfortable, several guests have reported that the mattresses in the double rooms are lumpy and uncomfortable, and one mentioned a cold bedroom due to a non-working radiator, which affects the comfort score.
The property is praised for its well-equipped kitchen and secure outdoor space for dogs. However, there are comments about the need for maintenance, such as a non-functional radiator and a hoover that needs attention, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owner. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

There was some staining on the sofa & vinyl covering on table puckered. I spoke to the caretaker about this & she said they were aware. Since there was a good housekeeping bond I felt it was advisable to mention these, did not want any issues after our stay. Everything was perfect, well equipped. Dogs loved the garden, very quiet area, just what we needed. We had to leave on Thursday due to having a family funeral on Friday. I did want to book the property again for January but unfortunately not available that month Not very happy with Sykes customer service when booking, being charged £25 extra, reason given 'market forces' prices can fluctuate, since I needed to be away at that time at short notice I had no choice.

It is spacious, modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay in North Wales. We found the information folder about local walks very useful. There are plenty of places to visit, within easy reach of the property. We loved it so much that we've booked for next year!
