What our customers say about their holidays
Mr Hunt - Verified booking
We’ve just returned from a blissful stay at our cottage, and it was exactly the break we needed. Tucked away in the countryside, the cottage had all the charm and comfort we hoped for, and the star of the show was undoubtedly the hot tub. We spent hours relaxing in it, unwinding under the night sky – it was very relaxing. The cottage itself was cosy and well-appointed, with everything on hand to make our stay comfortable. A lovely touch from the owner was the welcome treats of sausage rolls and Welsh cakes – the Welsh cakes, in particular, were delicious! The cottage was like a home away from home. During our stay, we made the most of the local attractions. We took a trip to Tenby beach, which was about an hour away, and it was well worth the drive for a bit of seaside fun. The children absolutely loved Heatherton World of Activities – they had a blast! We also visited Cardigan Castle, where we were pleasantly surprised to find free entry, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon exploring the historic grounds. What really made the visit special was the sense of peace and quiet – it felt like a true escape from the everyday rush. The hot tub was spotless and well-maintained, making it a joy to use. There’s nothing quite like soaking in warm, bubbling water while surrounded by nature; it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway that left us feeling relaxed and refreshed.

If you have dogs and want somewhere to go away look no further.
Large fully enclosed garden our whippet and greyhound had lots of room to run around in. Gives complete reassurance that you donât have to worry about letting your dogs out like at some places that isnât enclosed. The barn is lovely to stay at. Youâre roughly about 40-50 yards away from owners property but they are lovey and give you all the privacy you need. Literally everything you will need to stay there has been provided. Beyond amazed at home much stuff was there. We brought too much but always better to be prepared. Slight ongoing issue with WiFi (Sykes hadnât updated advert correctly for mobile viewing) and the roof is a metal roof so you donât get any mobile signal once inside. So if you are like us and watch everything through Netflix/Amazon/Disney etc download things first. Once this issues has been sorted(nothing to do with the owners all down to stupid BT) itâs literally the perfect place to stay. Stone is a short drive away and has plenty to offer. A+ place

We had a lovely stay at Saddlers and enjoyed time together as a family.
I think on reflection, maybe just a few points that would of allowed us to give more than 4*. Yes it sleeps 6 (2 people being on the sofabed)- but this sofa bed is in the living room with no curtains to block the light out or give you any privacy. For me, this place is better suited to 4 people maximum. We felt the place could have been a little cleaner but nothing outrageous. Eg-some dishes and utensils were dirty, floor a little muddy. There was also some dog poo on the garden out the front, not ideal when you have children with you- but, this is a dog friendly cottage so, we accept it to a degree. Overall, a lovely place, the owner was lovely and we did have a great time. Just those little things which have knocked it down to a 4*. The hot tub was lovely & private.

Gywnnant is a really comfortable and well equipped holiday house. We stayed here for a week in August and had a lovely holiday. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped we really felt at home. The owner had left some lovely welcome treats as well! The house is very rural but also only a short drive from plenty of great places to visit. Good to have a big parking space too, and we were pleased to discover the lanes weren't as narrow as ours in Devon so it was really easy driving around! We managed to get out and explore the area every day despite the weather! The hot tub was amazing and such a nice thing to come back to after a busy day. We would definitely recommend this gorgeous house for a holiday. Thank you!

The Saddlers is a lovely property.
It was clean, cosy and comfortable. Racheal was very responsive to all our questions and needs, a fantastic and attentive host. The log fire was lovely, sofas comfy and everything you could need was available in the kitchen. Our visits from Ted (the friendly dog from next door) were a lovely surprise, and it was nice seeing the cows graze in the field in the mornings. If I was being very critical, the bin was a little far from the kitchen, and the lid could do with fixing. And the microwave was a little rusty on the inside, it could do with being replaced. But honestly, these are very minor issues. The place really is a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. I highly recommend it :)
