There was a log burner and open fire which we enjoyed using. The cottage is beautifully situated between Foxford and Swinford, with views of Croagh Patrick and Nephin on a clear day. There is a games room in one of the sheds with pool table, darts board and table tennis. The photos when looking at this Cottage on the website really doesn’t do it justice as the furnishings are practically brand new. Comfy beds. Clean shower which is accessible to those who find it hard to stand as there is a seat attached to the wall. Kitchen is perfectly decorated and equipped for cooking. The lounge is beautifully decorated with a really comfy settee. This is one of the most comfortable cottages we have stayed in for a while.

The property was nicely decorated, clean & tidy, well furnished and had every comfort that was needed to described it as home from home. Located ideally if you wanted to experience Mayo and all it has to offer. Finish your day on a chilly evening, cosily in front of the log burner.
