Set in the heart of Blockley village, 6 Mount Pleasant is situated within a pretty terraced row of Cotswold cottages. This beautiful cottage retains all of its original character along with stunning modern touches throughout and has been lovingly renovated with exposed stonework and beams, all of which allow this romantic bolthole to be the perfect retreat.
A welcoming wooden clad porch is the perfect place to hang up your coats and kick off your boots before stepping into the comfortable sitting room with its open fire and beamed ceiling. The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for all occasions and the dishwasher allows the full benefit of time away from home. The master bedroom is situated on the first floor with an exposed stone feature wall and next door is a tastefully furnished dressing room/study. The shower room features underfloor heating, ideal for those cooler days. Al-fresco dining can be enjoyed in the sunny courtyard garden at the front of the property with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue.
Blockley is a classic English village with honey coloured stone cottages, set within the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds between Chipping Campden and Moreton-in-Marsh (with mainline railway services direct to London Paddington). There is a vast assortment of walks in and around the village, and two pubs, a community run café and a well-stocked shop are located within walking distance of 6 Mount Pleasant.
