Guests say

Manor House in the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales receives high praise for its spaciousness, beautiful gardens, and suitability for family gatherings. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the addition of a hot tub. The property's location is ideal for exploring local attractions, and the grounds provide ample space for children to play.

Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though a few noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as cobwebs and a dishwasher that needed emptying upon arrival. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a general trend.

The property's location is consistently praised for its stunning views and proximity to local attractions like Chatsworth House and Bakewell. Its central position is ideal for family members coming from different areas, and the rural setting is appreciated for privacy and tranquility.

Guests report a high level of comfort, with luxurious bedrooms, bathrooms, and ample space for large groups. The property is also noted to be safe for young children and accessible for those with mobility issues. However, some guests mentioned that certain beds were too soft or dipped at the edges.

The facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and gym, are generally well-received. The hot tub is a popular feature. Some guests, however, reported minor maintenance issues such as non-working light bulbs and a treadmill in need of repair, suggesting room for improvement in this area.

While guests have expressed gratitude for the helpful communication and the owner's responsiveness to issues, there is no specific mention of gifts provided by the owners. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts, and the score is set to null.

The Manor House has very spacious rooms and living accommodation, all is decorated to a very nice standard. Outside space is extensive, easy to park 6 cars, our 3 year old loved the swings/ slide and play house. Hot tub was well used by the adults. Everywhere was clean and easy to keep so.

Had everything you need for a family gathering which included a baby and toddler . Plenty of indoor space with a fantastic kitchen and dining area or relaxing in the living room . The outside space and views were amazing ,plenty of room for children to run around and a hot tub to relax in.

It was a beautiful house with lovely gardens and had everything we could possibly have needed , including shower seats which were really helpful for my husband who had mobility problems. We were a mixed group from aged 5 to 85 but there was something to keep everybody happy. I would definitely recommend this property .
