The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable self-catered stay, while the dining area provides a lovely spot to gather together over home-cooked meals and plan the adventures ahead.

In the evenings, the sitting area offers a relaxing place to settle down with the Smart TV after days spent exploring the surrounding area. When sleep calls, three bedrooms await, comprising two doubles and a twin, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for your group. These are served by two shower rooms, each fitted with a walk-in shower, helping mornings run with ease for larger groups. For added convenience, the washing machine can also be found within one of the shower rooms. Outside, the private courtyard with outdoor furniture provides a pleasant setting to enjoy the fresh country air, whether you’re starting the morning with a coffee or unwinding with a barbecue dinner and glass of wine as the evening draws in.

An all-weather tennis court and table tennis table provide hours of fun for the whole family, whilst four-legged friends can enjoy a run and a stretch in the fully-enclosed garden. Beyond your new holiday home, the surrounding area offers plenty to discover. The nearby market town of Louth is well worth a visit, known for its independent shops, traditional markets and selection of cafés and eateries, while Horncastle offers charming historic streets and a fantastic collection of antique shops. For a classic day by the sea, the popular resort of Skegness can be reached by car, offering sandy beaches, amusements and family-friendly attractions.

Alford is a charming market town in Lincolnshire. It is set at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is about 11 miles north-west of the coastal resort of Skegness. There is a wide range of shops including a pharmacy, grocers and two butchers as well as a large shop which specialises in doll’s houses and their contents. Alford has become an important centre for arts and crafts with many markets held throughout the year. The main market is held in the Market Place every Tuesday and Friday with the craft market being held every August Bank Holiday as well as Christmas markets being held every year. Alford is known for its Grade I listed working windmill, which is used commercially to produce stone-ground organic flour. Alford Manor House is a central point in the town, with its exhibitions and museum as well as a tea room and open gardens. With Alford being set in the Lincolnshire Wolds, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to follow or even take a trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway or Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Gardens, where you will find plenty of birds and animals, with plenty of space to sit and relax with great views of the old mill. Within 30 mins, you will find the seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, with great beaches, making a great playground for children and adults alike. For something different, why not visit the towns of Louth or Horncastle, which both have a good range of shops and pubs as well as regular street and farmers markets? Whatever you decide to do, you will not be short of choice for your holiday in this lovely area of Lincolnshire.
