Converted in 2019, this lovely detached cottage is located just 5 miles from the town of Hay-on-Wye, popular for its book festivals. Lovingly furnished to a good standard, it offers a very comfortable base from which to explore the delights of the surrounding area.
On the ground floor is a spacious open plan living space that is light and airy. The living area offers ample seating, a large Smart TV and a DVD player, perfect for cosying up and watching films on a rainy night. Upstairs is a master bedroom with en-suite faciltiies, as well as a twin bedroom, also with its own en-suite.
The location is a real haven for walkers with access to Offa’s Dyke, Mortimer’s Trail, the Black Mountains and the stunning Brecon Beacons. Golf, fishing, riding and cycling are all available nearby, while Hereford, Leominster, Brecon and Builth Wells are all within an easy drive and make for fun-filled days out for all the family. Comfortable and great location for our visit to Bluith Wells. Great location for Royal Welsh showground There was an odd smell which permeated from main bedroom acros the landing each morning. Pased concern about plumbing to the owner on departure.
