It provides an ideal base for exploring the whole of Lakeland. Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere are all within easy reach, with many high mountains and low valley walking opportunities available. Golf, tennis, fishing, riding, sailing and rock climbing are all available locally. Keswick has a leisure pool, beautiful parks, museums and the fabulous Theatre by the Lake.

Thank you serendipity. Close to local town, well equipped kitchen for a couple. Flat is clean and well maintained. Aged unit, adds to the rustic cottage feel. Firmer beds and pillows would make the stay even more comfortable. Keep up the good work.

First of all it’s the year 2026 and to have no WiFi in the property is abysmal No telephone signal either in the property.Walls filthy rubbish under beds bathroom was very smelly when I arrived Furniture very outdated television not very good audio no DVD player but this was stated before arrival..Ironing board needs replaced along with pots and pans also NO freezer in the property and it’s 2026.Washing machine door needs fixed All in All an extremely unpleasant stay topped off with the constant banging from downstairs (I think they were getting work done)

Great location and good property for a long weekend. A basic property, but that was in keeping with the description and photos, it served us well and we'd definitely return.Only slight niggle was no freezer, but we made it work.
