It provides an ideal base for exploring the whole of Lakeland. Golf, tennis, fishing, riding, sailing and rock climbing are all available locally. Keswick has a leisure pool, beautiful parks, museums and the fabulous Theatre by the Lake.

Great location and good property for a long weekend. A basic property, but that was in keeping with the description and photos, it served us well and we'd definitely return.Only slight niggle was no freezer, but we made it work.

Thankfully cottages .com promptly tried to sort problems out by supplying me with a proper set of pans for cooking and attempting to fix tv signal though not successfull there.But rest of accommodation was excellent and would recommend it.

Fantastic location for walking around and through Keswick. Stunning view of Latrigg from bedroom window. Warm and comfortable. We would have liked a welcome pack with information about how to access tv channels and maybe local walks and amenities information. Maybe some soap and washing up liquid would help guests.
