This purpose built first floor 2 bedroom apartment is situated in a quiet residential area 5 minutes walk from Keswick Town Centre and all amenities and only yards from the Convention Centre. It provides an ideal base for exploring the whole of Lakeland. Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere are all within easy reach, with many high mountains and low valley walking opportunities available. Golf, tennis, fishing, riding, sailing and rock climbing are all available locally. Keswick has a leisure pool, beautiful parks, museums and the fabulous Theatre by the Lake.

This was our second visit to Serendipity and found it to be warm and pleasant. It was also comfortable and clean. There is a few minutes walk to the centre of Keswick which was good for us. The visitor book keeps mentioning some minor issues and would be nice if the owner was to rectify these. Such as no WiFi, the clock needs a new battery which was mentioned in 2025. The electric fire needs a new bulb and would be nice to have a couple of cushions on the settee. A small coffee table would also be nice but otherwise we found it to be excellent value and would return again.

Place is a bit dated but functional ok for a base for walking ,all facilities worked ,all clean bedding towels etc tv was a bit dodgy on sound ,location is good 10 min walk into town ,also plenty of parking on the street .

Keswick is a wonderful place for walks from the door, pubs, cafes and outdoor shops. This first floor flat was near the town centre, but far enough away to have available on street parking. There was plenty of space in the apartment for just me and everything I used worked fine. Drawbacks include a longish, steepish flight of steps leading to the flat, a rather outdated feel to the place, including the requirement for a more thorough clean, and a bit of noise from other properties nearby.
