As the name suggests this upside down style cottage has the living areas on the first floor to take advantage of the magnificent views over the rooftops to Causey Pike and Grisedale.

Lovely stay at Topsy Turvey . Location is superb . Permit was a bonus for the car park . Shower was good / powerful / hot. Beds adequate . 2 Settees need replacing , quite worn . Keswick is beautiful. Would recommend.

This was our second stay in this property. Despite being in a great location just off the main centre of Keswick, we didnt hear any noise. The only downside for us was the lack of parking space for the property. Although a space in one of the long stay car parks comes with the rental-there is no allocated space. Therefore when Keswick was busy (and it was as the weather was on our side) we struggled to find a space so lots of going in circles for us around car parks. But other than that, a great place!

Although the location & amenities were what we expected for the price the cleanliness was not acceptable. The main bathroom had a mouldy bath mat, the air vent was clogged with dirt, the grouting was mouldy and cobwebs hung from the ceiling. The upstairs bathroom was not clean.The fridge was dirty & the skirting boards were very dirty through out the house.There were 3 loose slabs outside the front door one of which was so loose my husband tripped & nearly fell over, we had to remove them to ensure our safety.
