An additional first-floor snug provides the ultimate hub for children, homing a TV, football table and plenty of books and games to keep them entertained. When the evening draws to a close, head to one of ten fabulous bedrooms to wind down; splendidly furnished with the added convenience of several en-suite bathroom or shower room, most of the bedrooms allow you to refresh and climb immediately into the haven of a plush bed. The tiny linear village of Holmrook is situated on the outskirts of the gorgeous Lake District National Park in the rural area of Cumbria, a highly sought-after region. The hamlet has a convenience store inside of a petrol station, a post office, a bar and restaurant inside of a hotel, as well as all the other amenities needed to make a staycation comfortable. Holmrook, which is perched on the banks of the River Irt, is a great place to take a leisurely stroll while taking in the scenery. For a more ambitious walk, head further afield to scale the difficult peaks of The Lakes! The nearby coastline is adorned with sand, dunes, and charming towns and provides a wealth of chances for strolling and sightseeing. Holmrook is ideally positioned to discover Cumbria's charms on the coast and inland.

Ten bedrooms over 2 floors with 7 ensuites, a ground floor WC with basin and a first floor bathroom with bath, basin and a separate WC.

Ground floor consists of the following rooms.

4 x King size bedrooms with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x King with ensuite bath, shower over, basin and WC, 1 triple family room with 1 x Superking and 1 x single bed plus ensuite bath, shower over, basin and WC, 1 x Single room with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x single bedroom, please note this single room does not have an ensuite.

There is a ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC.

First floor consists of the following bedrooms and bathrooms.

1 x king size bedroom, 1 x single room.

Please note these bedrooms do not have ensuites.

The first floor has a bathroom with a bath and basin and a separate WC room.

There is also a snug room on the first floor with a corner sofa, table football, a Smart TV and a Playstation 4.
Remaining ground floor rooms are as follows.

Dining room with sitting for 18 people.

Ground floor sitting room with woodburning stove providing setting up to 18 people.

There is also a sofa bed in the ground floor sitting room and a Smart TV, selection of books, games, DVD player with DVDs.

There is a Ground floor kitchen and a further ground floor kitchenette.

The main kitchen has hob/electric oven, microwave, 1 x undercounter fridge, 2 x dishwasher The kitchenette also has an undercounter fridge, electric oven and hob.

There is also a utility room that has a tall fridge and tall freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

The property has central heating, wifi throughout and bed linen, fuel and power are also included in the rent but guest do need to bring their own towels.

Travel cot / highchair available on request.

Ample off-road parking for 6 cars.

The property also has an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture.

Sorry, NO smoking and NO pets.

Petrol station 2.6 miles, pub 1.1 miles.

Note: Towels are NOT provided.

    Facilities and grounds were 1st class. Castle grounds across the road, steam train 2 minutes drive away and pub food available near by. Highly recommended
