Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy fireplace and comfortable beds. The living spaces are described as cosy and the kitchen well-stocked, contributing to a homely atmosphere.
The cottage is well-equipped, but there are comments about the games room being locked or not meeting expectations. The lack of provided consumables for the coffee and washing machines is noted. The road access and parking are also mentioned as potential issues for larger vehicles.

We had a lovely stay for Christmas, the cottage was very cosy and decorated tastefully for Christmas. Well equipped kitchen, comfy living room with nice old fashioned fireplace.

Another fantastic comfortable and delightful stay at Breasty Haw, Satterthwaite. The walks in the woods from the cottage for our Cocker Spaniel, and the joy of the views from the house with the sound of bird song is idyllic. The fire was on to make the lounge lovely and toasty, and the kitchen facilities to make great food, and also to eat at the Eagles Head a short walk did not disappoint. Thank you.

Fabulous cottage. This is our second time back to breasty haw and 6th time to Satterthwaite. From the door into the woods our cocker spaniel loves it here. The views are out of this world. Great kitted out cottage with everything you need. Gardens superb, and the fire in the lounge after a walk up in the forest is the nicest thing ever to relax in front of. Check out deer, jays and robins!
