Group Bookings/Party Types
No stag or hen parties are permitted. Adult only groups of more than 2 adults will not be accepted and may be refused upon arrival if not approved by the park prior to arrival. All noise must be kept to a minimum after 9:30pm. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult within the facilities building and swimming pool.
Facilities
There is now an electric car charging point now available at Crake Valley. This is available to guests at a small fee to cover the cost of electricity.

We chose this location as we wanted to participate in a Dark Skies Experience, canoeing on Lake Coniston. Crake Valley is literally 5 minutes drive from the meeting point we needed to get to for our canoeing adventure. We also visited HawksHead, Grizedale Observatory, Hill Top, Coniston and Grasmere. Would thoroughly recommend both the Herdwick Cafe and the Bluebird Cafe in Coniston. Both serve delicious food and drinks and cater for gluten-free needs.

We had a lovely weekend at Crake Valley. It was a perfect base for us to explore the lake district. The lodge was lovely, very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the short walk above the park, with fantastic views of Coniston lake. Great communication from staff before our stay, and information pack was great. We had a lovely time, and we would love to return.

Excellent place to holiday! The cabins are cozy and equipped with absolutely everything you need, set in a truly beautiful location! I've been back as it's perfect for dog walking breaks. There are endless walks and views at every turn. I love the kids little honesty hut too - the twix rocky road is divine.
