Upon entering the cottage, the hallway leads to the kitchen, dining room and cloakroom. The sitting room can be entered from the kitchen or dining room and comes complete with a Smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals and there is a separate dining room to accommodate up to 6 guests.
A convenient cloakroom with a basin and WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs, you will find three well-presented bedrooms; a double with a TV, a twin room with TV, and a single room, all offering a tranquil escape at the end of the day. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a large walk-in shower. We had a lovely weekend stay at the cottage with our young family. The cottage was beautiful and clean on our arrival and the owners were so helpful. We had requested extra items for our youngest which was all set up and ready for us. The kitchen was well stocked with items for cooking at home and it is clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into setting up the cottage. The market on Saturday morning was great and just a short walk from the cottage. The cottage was perfect base for us visiting the Polar Express as it was only a short drive away.
