You will certainly be tempted to stay put and enjoy this property fully, but if you can tear yourself away you will find yourself in the heart of what many consider the be the most beautiful part of North Norfolk. Just minutes from Wells-next-the-Sea where you will find a wide sandy beach with painted beach huts, a quay with bobbing boats that are just begging to be photographed, and a great mix of artisan and boutique places to eat, drink and shop you couldn’t be better placed to explore.
Coastal lovers will find a host of habitats including salt and clay marshes, sand and shingle beaches and rolling sand dunes. This part of Norfolk is enjoying something of a burgeoning foodie scene so, having worked up an appetite from all that sea air, you will find so many choices of places to dine, many of which serve local produce. Nature lovers will enjoy rspb Snettisham or seasonal boat trips to see the seals. Do Make some time to visit the nearby Georgian town of Holt, famous for its unique high street and strings of seasonal pretty Christmas lights. In November and December, you can also enjoy the famous Christmas Spectacular Show at the Thursford Collection or take Santa’s Magical Journey and see the big man himself. We loved our stay at Orchard farmhouse. The house has been beautifully restored and was so comfortable. Huge beds, lovely big shower. Had everything you need and so close to Wells-Next-the-Sea.Can’t wait to return 🤗

Excellent cottage, just a short drive from wells next to sea, supermarket short drive away , local pub great food within walking distance, had a wonderful 3 night stay, will certainly be returning,

Very comfortable cottage. We had a welcome pack and plenty of logs for the log burner for our stay.The shower in the ensuite does leak under the cubical door. There are 2 televisions, but you will need to use your own log in details to use the apps as there are no freeview channels Great pub in the village where we had a wonderful Sunday lunch. Only a short drive to Wells Next to Sea and Walsingham Overall a lovely weekend away with friends
