Heating system needs looking into, as the boiler kept firing up throughout the night, even with thermostat turned down. There was no information about adjusting the heating apart from a sign saying don't change anything.

Easy access to the A1. The property was bigger than it looked from the outside so we had plenty of space. It had everything we could need. There is a fantastic pub a few minutes walk away. What more could we ask for?!

A couple of minor “maintenance” problems which were promptly resolved following a phone call. Good info provided on how to obtain any advice or help. Excellent facilities in the cottage and the village community. Lovely meals at the pub and enjoyed the take-away service provided by The Schoolhouse. Comfy, spacious bedrooms. Lots of kitchen storage space. 3 en-suite bathrooms large and modern. Lots of thoughtful extras (hooks near the door for coats and dog leads, mirrors, shelves in the bathrooms, tasteful furnishings. Can’t recommend highly enough.
