This was the cleanest most equipped house I have ever stayed in. The bed was so comfortable, perfectly located for exploring the Lake District and beaches, the local town is limited although there is a Tesco 2mins walk away , we loved our stay here and were sad to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. It was very clean and had everything you would need for a home from home stay. The host went an extra mile with additional touches to make our stay even more enjoyable. We had no problems here at all. The only thing to point out which wasn’t a massive problem at all but the bedroom would have benefited from a place to dry, straighten hair and get ready and the bedroom windows were too high up to open at night for fresh air - small things that didn’t impact our enjoyable stay. The town barely had any shops or restaurants open while we were there which we thought was a bit odd so we drove out a few places. We would recommend the Italian restaurant in town, amazing authentic food.

The cottage was very well presented and proportioned for five adults. It retained much charm, yet had all modern facilities, comfortable beds, and good location for the Lakes
