Brookes garden centre is a short walk away and serves delicious meals throughout the day. Nearby is the picturesque village of Cartmel, where visitors can stroll through charming streets, taste the famous sticky toffee pudding and unwind in a variety of cosy pubs, Michelin-star adorned dining spots, and unique shops. It is also the home of the Cartmel Racecourse. The coastal village of Grange-over-Sands is only 3.5 miles away, offering a lovely promenade and various attractions easily accessed from Cark Train Station. With close links to the central lakes by car, bus or train, this makes the perfect base for uncovering the Lake District’s many treasures.
