You can tell a lot of love and thought has been put into it to provide a wonderful relaxing holiday home. There are some fantastic places to visit, including Castleton, Bakewell, Milk From The Hill and the local pub, Ye Olde Mustard Pot. Or you can simply sit in the garden of Stoneycroft Barn and take in the spectacular views and watch the beauty of nature. I would highly recommend staying here, it has been my favourite so far.

The bedrooms were spacious and gave us all plenty of space. The communal areas were great for all hanging out together. The views from the garden and patio are stunning! Walked to the local pub, which was just the right distance for the older family members. Overall, we had a great stay, and would love to return!

We found Stoneycroft Barn to be extremely clean and well stocked with crockery etc The layout inside was lovely and comfortable. The setting was peaceful and picturesque. We would have preferred an 11 am departure time and we found it challenging to reverse our cars out of the parking space due to the gradient and gravel. Okay for the 4 wheel drive cars but for the VW Passat, there was a lot of wheel spin and consequent stress.
