The location was perfect for our family gathering. Lovely walks nearby.

The kitchen was well equipped and the downstairs space allowed for people be in different spaces but not isolated. We loved being able to walk from the cottage, a call at the pub on the return and then back to the super cosy barn. A wonderful welcome gift and check in call from the owner before we arrived was a lovely extra touch. We did find the bedrooms a bit too warm at night but just opened the window. Wonderful stay and would return.

Unfortunately the shower in the en-suite was extremely hot, pretty much unusable, the thermostatic control wasn’t working so the water was scalding. Also one of the bedside drawers in the room contained a plastic bag with teabags & a body spray so clearly hadn’t been checked, also missing knob/handle on en-suite basin cabinet.
