Green Poplars in Cowes offers a spacious and well-equipped stay with a hot tub and beautiful surroundings. It's ideal for exploring the island, with a convenient on-site shop and wildlife to enjoy. Some guests noted steep access and privacy concerns around the hot tub, but overall, the property provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The property was very clean upon arrival, with the hot tub cleaned prior to the visit. However, one guest mentioned that some plates needed washing before use, indicating a minor oversight.
The location is praised for being easy to find, ideal for exploring the island, and having a shop on-site. The proximity to Cowes and scenic walks adds to its appeal, despite some concerns about the privacy around the hot tub due to its location next to the road.
Guests found the accommodation spacious and comfortable, with a variety of games and DVDs. However, there were comments about the beds making noise and the steep, slippery access steps which posed a challenge for those with mobility issues.
The property is well-appointed with a large kitchen, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. On-site facilities like tennis courts and a shop add value. Criticisms include a broken hob lighter and dirt in the hot tub on one occasion.
While guests appreciated the welcome pack, there are not enough reviews mentioning specific thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind bonus and not guaranteed.

We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful accommodation, very spacious, and was well equipped. Everything thought of down to welcome pack. We had everything to kick start our break. Location was easy to find. Our only criticism was the access steps. They were quite steep and slippery, as we all had some mobility issues with joint pain, we did struggle a bit, especially with getting our luggage in and out. Hot tub was a brilliant touch. Loved it.
