My nephews enjoyed the swimming pool. The location is ideally for a base to explore Cornwall

We have 2 jackapoos and they loved looking out of the lounge window. The site was clean and well maintained. The swimming pool, sauna and changing rooms were kept clean. We didn't use the gym or the games room.We had food in the Honicombe Arms and the portions were generous. Unfortunately the weather was very changeable but we did manage to go out most days. tHe property is well sited to visit both Cornwall and Devon.

The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept very well! There was even a little rubber duck which we enjoyed hiding and finding! The only thing missing was a BBQ, which was mentioned in the listing and a baking tray which fitted the oven. The park is obviously inland but it was an ideal base for exploring both Devon and Cornwall. It’s 8 mins from Tesco but Morrisons and Tesco deliver to the property. The facilities on site were great. We were lucky to have amazing weather so took full advantage of the outside pool, which was a lovely temperature. There is a booking system but we didn’t experience problems getting a slot and booked concurrent ones so we could stay there all day! There weren’t many sun loungers and chairs, but we just took our own. We used the pub several times, especially on their special nights such as pizzas and fish and chips. There were singers on several nights and Saturday and Monday was music bingo, which was great fun! We would definitely visit again.
