Perfect size and layout for multi family holidays. We had 4 generations and a lab celebrating Christmas and everyone felt that they had their own space when needed.Fabulous kitchen and dining area that meant the ‘chefs’ could still be involved with the games and conversation whilst cooking a feast.

Fantastic house. Large proportioned bedrooms great showers.Great kitchen well equipped with all you need to feed 12 people, knives that were Sharp and if not a sharping block.Great communication from the owners able to help with minor issue. And as we went during the recent cold flood period the house was amazingly warm. Underfloor heating how great is that.Lovely walks nearby.Just perfect.

We wanted to stay somewhere large enough to accommodate all our family. We chose Polmear Barn as it had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to cater for 6 adults and 4 children (there was an extra bedroom which the children turned into their play room). The reviews were all excellent. We were not disappointed. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for everyone. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped to a high standard. We cooked meals at home on a number of occasions and everything we needed was there, including a table big enough for us all to sit down together to eat. It is ideally situated on the edge of Camelford so you are in the country but a short walk from food shops and a lovely fish and chip shop. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby including Tintagel, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow and Bude. It has a lovely big garden and you can walk across the fields at the end of the garden to the river. The owners James and Kaye were very welcoming and gave us a number to contact them on if we had any problems or questions. We all had a wonderful restful time together.
