Guests say

Huers Hide in Carbis Bay is consistently praised for its stunning views, particularly from the conservatory, and its peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, with personal touches and thoughtful provisions adding to the experience. The property's cleanliness and maintenance are highly regarded, contributing to many guests' desires to return.

The property is frequently described as spotlessly clean, with only one mention of a need for a spring clean in the conservatory and bathroom. This isolated comment does not detract significantly from the overall high standards noted by guests.

The location is universally lauded for its tranquillity and the uninterrupted sea views it offers. The proximity to local attractions and the convenience of nearby transport options like the train to St Ives are also positively noted.

Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the property cosy and relaxing. The conservatory is a highlight for relaxation. However, one guest found the mattress too soft, suggesting that comfort may be subjective to individual preferences.

Facilities are generally considered excellent, with the property being well-equipped. However, there are mentions of minor issues such as a faulty fridge regulator, hot water inconsistencies, and missing BBQ equipment, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches, such as the provision of a cream tea and detailed visitor information. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
