Guests say

Guests consistently praise Five Elements Barn for its cleanliness, tranquil location, and the warm welcome from hosts Sari and Oli. The property is well-equipped and offers a comfortable stay with a hot tub as a highlight. Its central location in Cornwall makes it a great base for exploring nearby attractions. Some guests found the space slightly cramped but overall, the experience is highly recommended.

Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'lovely and clean' and 'clean and tidy', indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The property's location is praised for being peaceful and central, ideal for visiting beaches and attractions in Cornwall. However, one guest found it further inland than expected, slightly affecting the score.

Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of 'super comfy beds' and a 'home from home experience'. A few guests noted one uncomfortable bed and a cramped dining area, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the hot tub and well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests noted the absence of a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and adequate space for drying clothes, indicating room for improvement.

While the hosts are commended for their helpfulness and warm welcome, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be quantified in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Facilities were as one would expect, though there was a washing machine but nowhere to dry clothes. However, the drive to the Barn wasn’t altogether suitable for a standard/low car. Sari was on hand and helpful.

The accommodation was fantastic and the hot tub was the icing on the cake as after a long day visiting places along the Cornish coast a long relaxing soak outside was the perfect end to the day. Would highly recommend. Also , where it is located ,most places are only 30 - 40 minutes drive so it's quite central. My self and my family would like to say a big thank you to Sari for making our stay unforgettable.

However for the £646 we paid, we expected more in space and better facilities. We found the barn slightly cramped - there were 3 of us staying and we had to work round each other in the kitchen. The butchers block was in the way. The dining table was cramped for 3 people to sit round comfortably, the shower was tiny and there was no dishwasher and no Wi-Fi. Apart from these points everything else was ok. Thank you,
