Skiber is a newly-refurbished, two-bedroom, semi-detached barn conversion nestled on the Roseland peninsula, just outside St Just in Roseland and 4 miles from St Mawes. A period exterior gives way to an entrance hall leading to the lounge and a separate downstairs WC. A cosy living room, furnished with comfortable leather sofas, leads through to a modern kitchen/diner. The fitted kitchen features a full suite of integrated appliances, including electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and a wine/beer-cooler; a USB/power station provides charging points for tablets and phones. Upstairs, the two newly-carpeted bedrooms look out across the garden and the local countryside and offer a double room with double bed and a twin with a zip/link feature that can be made into a super-king-size double upon request.
Travel cots are available on request, making it an ideal setup for a family with small children. The modern bathroom is located between the bedrooms and provides a bath with shower over, basin and WC. Beyond the kitchen/diner, a large, enclosed decked area wraps around the cottage featuring a hot tub for relaxing in at the end of a long day of exploring. There is Rattan furniture you can sit out on with a refreshing drink and an additional shared lawn provides ample space for picnics and games. If you want to leave the car behind, take a short walk from the cottages across the creek to the beautiful church of St Just, labelled by the poet Sir John Betjemen as the prettiest church in all England.
Why not head to the stunning Messack Point, where you'll be rewarded with stunning views across the Fal Estuary? Venture towards the beautiful sandy beaches at Pendower, Carne and Towan, where you can spend your afternoons relaxing on the soft sands sunbathing or taking a relaxing dip in the clear waters. Also nearby is the wonderfully historic St Mawes Castle, as well as the National Trust House and Gardens at Trelissick. Skiber provides a wonderful base for exploring all Cornwall has to offer.

We had a warm welcome & hosts were extremely helpful whilst not being intrusive. Everything was spotlessly clean & finished to a really high standard. We used as a base for walking the south west coast path so to return to the hot tub after a days hiking was heaven. Garden is very private thanks to the screening between cottages. Would highly recommend.

Mike was really hospitable and helpful. I've never seen such an amazing welcome pack! The shared field at the back of the two rental properties is huge, enclosed and perfect for everyone to run off some energy. Plenty of parking too and in a great location.
