St Mawes is one of Cornwall’s most desirable holiday destinations and the stunning harbour surrounded by lovely local shops, restaurants, bars and hotels is a constant bustle of vibrancy during the season. There is a never-ending variety of boating to keep the view changing - kayaks paddling out of the harbour, regular ferry passenger services to Falmouth and other destinations up the Fal estuary, the constant bustle of sailing boats, both large and small, and shipping movements further out to sea will keep all amused. St Mawes has so much to offer the visitor. St Mawes Castle was built by Henry viii and is a splendid place to take in the views of the Carrick Roads. There are miles of coastal and countryside walks to take in and some idyllic beaches on which to relax. During the winter it is a quiet, peaceful village that rarely sees frosts or snow. beautiful location with a fantastic view ,,, however wooden toilet seats which were stained and well worn ,,, 25 steps leading up to the apartment and 5 steps in the apartment.... kitchen cupboards could do with a deep clean .. balcony did not seem safe as the railings were corroded,,,, could not use the freezer as it was full of frozen food

Rosemullion Cottage was a fantastic location to explore St Mawes and the surrounding area. The views from the lounge windows was perfect. There is ample space with 3 bedrooms and 3 Bathrooms. The kitchen is well equiped though we generally ate out. There are plenty of options to eat in St Mawes and no need to drive anywhere if you didnt want to. It was lovely to receive a welcome gift of wine and milk in the apartment. The 2 most important things after a long drive!!
