A beautiful property in a lovely village. The house was spotlessly clean on our arrival and very well equipped. This family home is furnished to a high standard. As a family, we have stayed at a number of properties in the area over the years. This property has the largest garden by far - completely enclosed and safe for our dog to explore. The area itself is perfect for those wishing to explore on foot . A definite hit with the family and we would love to return again.

Set within a beautiful village, the house combined charm, character, and comfort. We were a short drive from many of Dorset's attractions but also had easy access walking to Hive beach, 2 good pubs (providing food) and a village shop. Everything we needed was provided within the house and beds were extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful week here and will definitely return.

The Magnolias is a real gem of a find, right in the heart of the lovely village of Burton Bradstock on the Jurassic Coast. The property has been lovingly restored and has 3 good-sized bedrooms (one en-suite), a family bathroom (with a a great shower), a fine lounge and separate dining room. You'll find yourself spending most of your time in the kitchen though, with its fabulous Aga that heats the whole house. All equipment and furnishings are of a very high standard from the duvets to the utensils - a lot of thought has gone into this. The garden is large and enclosed and was perfect for us and our Labrador to roam around. The parking space was a real bonus in this popular village. The owner got in touch while we there and she was very keen to ensure we had the perfect time. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and the cafe there is definitely worth a visit just for the fish & chips alone. The two pubs in the village are great and both very welcoming. Modbury Farm shop nearby does some really good cheeses and other local foods. The market in Bridport on Wednesdays and Saturdays is well worth a visit. We have stayed in this area a number of times over the years and The Magnolias is the best property we have found - would love to return there one day.
