Smart central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Enclosed, lawned garden with sitting-out area. Private parking for 2 cars; additional on-road parking. No smoking.. As you enter Paignton view on the ground floor, the lovely open plan lounge/diner is bright and airy inviting room. With smart TV and comfortable seating, this room runs alongside the well-equipped kitchen with modern lighting. The dining area leads out into the conservatory which overlooks the pleasant lawned garden. A great area for sitting and relaxing with a book or glass of wine after a long day. The garden looks out over Torbay with far stretching distant sea views. On the first floor are the three bedrooms and family bathroom. The family bathroom has bath and shower above and opposite this is the bedroom containing bunk beds, perfect for children. The two double rooms are just along the hall and both benefit from built in storage, for packing away those messy suitcases!
Paignton view is just a stone throw from the nearby Goodrington beach, with various cafes/restaurants, a waterpark and large green. As well as plenty of other small activities especially suited for children. The green is also a hotspot for dog walking if bringing away any of your four-legged friends. There is a leisure centre with swimming pools, gym as well as much more, just at the bottom of the hill from the property.
The property is situated in a great position for exploring Torbay and the South Hams as a whole, with the famous fishing town of Brixham just 5 miles up the road & Torquay 4 miles in the opposite direction. There are also the famous boating towns of Dartmouth and Kingswear nearby, to name but a few. Whatever the reason for your visit, Paignton view is a great holiday accommodation to base yourself from.

Absolutely stunning view from the garden. The house was very clean and tidy. Water park and beach is almost on the doorstep. Very steep hill so anyone with mobility or health issues may find it a problem. There were a few missing items from the house which would have made life a little easier but it didn't spoil our stay. There is a rules sheet in the kitchen which states dogs are only allowed on the raised lawn. This is almost impossible to do without the dog being on a lead. The lawns are AstroTurf. If dogs aren't allowed on the lower (main) lawn then a fence needs to be put around it. Some reviews state about the ring doorbell and equipment behind the curtain being a privacy issue. There is a router and doorbell box. We didn't feel like we were being watched at all. Would recommend and would return. Lovely holiday.

Apparently just a stone throw away from goodrington beach . More like 15 minute walk, involving a massive hill . And even further the other way to get to town , Not the location when one of your party is elderley . Had to drive everywhere and pay parking literally twice a day . Lovely view from the garden. But found paignton to be an unpleasant drinking town like blackpool. Neighbouring brixham much nicer.

We had a lovely week's holiday and enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and generally well equipped and the views from the house were absolutely stunning. However there are a few small things that could make such a better guest experience.The wifi was very slow and not very reliable. It was not possible for us to adjust the heating - we had to contact the owner each time!A dishwasher would have been nice but, as there wasn't one, an extra tea towel for washing up would have been useful (there was only one!). Given a washing machine and washing line is provided, it would have been helpful to have some clothes pegs. Spare pillows were provided, but not extra pillowcases. There was no hand towel for the downstairs cloakroom and the hot water pressure was terrible. That being said we still enjoyed our stay and miss the view already. We hope to return.
