Lovely peaceful well equipped holiday home. Beds, showers, sofas and kitchen equipment were all great. Beautiful views too. We enjoyed the evening show of swifts milling around. The owners were on hand for anything and told us when they would send out the harvesters and any noise from a nearby borehole being dug. Neither of which bothered us. All in all a lovely airy spacious home. The Nags Head has re opened but it was only just starting up again. Hopefully running normally soon.

We had a superb holiday in at Hop Kiln. The property is huge, with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms but felt cosy, welcoming and relaxing. The setting is stunning with plenty of wildlife to watch, rural enough for peace and tranquility but close enough to Hereford for amenities (shops/supermarkets/pharmacy etc) and places of interest were never too far away. Kate's welcome basket and delicious Victoria Sponge cake were a lovely touch. Found a lack of local pub/restaurants open Monday-Thursday...but the outside patio area and great kitchen at Hop Kiln meant eating al fresco was a super alternative. Places to Visit: Hampton Gardens, and Berrington Hall, Ludlow, and Hay-on-Wye. Restaurants: The Beefy Boys, Hereford

This is a beautifully appointed, very clean house. It is a little remote, being a mile from the nearest store and a car ride to the nearest pub although we understood that the pub in the village is due to reopen soon and it wasn't a real issue for us. However that means it is nice and quiet apart from birdsong and we enjoyed watching the swallows swoop around. There are some local walks from the property. The owners were very helpful and responded to any queries very quickly.
