Offa's Dyke Lodge is highly praised for its stunning views, well-equipped amenities, and the added luxury of a hot tub and games room. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as towels and essentials, and the enclosed outdoor space for dogs. The location offers beautiful woodland walks and a peaceful escape. While most guests had a relaxing stay, some noted the need for maintenance and TLC in certain areas.
Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, but there were a few mentions of cleanliness issues such as mould in the bathroom and floors not being spotless upon arrival. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is consistently lauded for its breathtaking views, peaceful setting, and proximity to local walks and amenities. It is described as an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature.
The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with a cosy log burner and well-stocked kitchen. However, some guests found the beds and pillows too soft for their preference, which slightly affects the comfort score.
Facilities like the hot tub, games room, and fireplace are popular among guests. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a broken pool table, leaky games room roof, and some outdoor chairs being unsafe.
Guests are delighted by the thoughtful provisions, including towels for different uses and kitchen essentials. A welcome surprise of biscuits and milk was mentioned, but as gifts are not guaranteed, future guests should consider this a delightful possibility rather than an expectation.

Id booked this place as a birthday treat for my son and his partner. Beautiful location, stunning views but unfortunately the lodge was a little dirty. Mould in the bathroom and was left with a mould cleaning spray by the cleaner. Just didnt look as though it had a proper clean unfortunately. Beds werent comfortable either. Hot tub was a masive let down, they were only able to use it 3 times as my son suffered what looks like chemical burns. Hes covered in a horrid rash all over his body thats burning and turning infected. His partner only went in twice as she couldnt stand the burning. Im sure this is down to lack of cleaning and maintenance of the hot tub or too much chemicals. Owners were easy to get hold of and accommodating, again nice spacious lodge with beautiful views so its a shame this couple of things let it down.

Very peaceful setting, lovely views from the hot tub which is covered, great for all weather. Private setting, not overlooked by any other lodges. Cosy fireplace provided with wood. Own private games room is niche and a great addition. Great price for the amenities provided. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay, both summer or winter.

What a fabulous find. Stunning views all around and equipped to a very high standard. Plenty of room and the hot tub and games room are an added bonus. We will most definitely be returning!
