Guests generally appreciate the property's prime location with stunning views of Ironbridge and easy access to local amenities. The cottage's authentic Victorian decor and spaciousness are well-received, contributing to a homely and enjoyable stay. While some guests mention issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Mixed feedback on cleanliness, with some guests finding the property well-presented, while others report issues such as leftover food, a dirty oven tray, and a general need for a more thorough cleaning. The presence of damp-smelling towels also detracts from the overall cleanliness score.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the Ironbridge, local shops, cafes, and attractions. The scenic views and central position contribute to a memorable stay, despite some comments about noise from the nearby road.
Comfort receives positive remarks for cosy and homely vibes, with comfortable beds and adequate space. However, some guests mention issues with mattress comfort, a lack of fans in hot weather, and noise from the road affecting sleep quality.
The property is well-equipped with necessary appliances and comfortable furnishings. Guests suggest improvements such as better cleaning of carpets, fixing broken chairs, and addressing safety concerns with sash windows. The lack of parking and difficulty with rubbish disposal are noted.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The town of Ironbridge is widely regarded as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and is a unesco World Heritage Site. The bridge itself was built in 1779 and holds a prominent position in the centre of the town, from which there is easy access to any one of the ten museums in the area and The Maws Craft Centre.
The apartment is situated close to several bars, shops, and restaurants, with the nearest public house within close walking distance, just ¼ mile away from the property, making it the perfect resting place to enjoy a glass of wine overlooking the river.
Ironbridge also has many attractions to explore. It is 6 miles from the town of Telford, which provides great transport links and plenty of more shops and restaurants to enjoy. Several walks can be found at Wrekin, Wenlock Edge and the Long Mynd. There are also great road networks linking Shropshire, Herefordshire, Cheshire, and mid and north Wales. The historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth are all within easy driving distance, as are National Trust properties such as Powis Castle, Chirk Castle and Attingham Park."

Beautifully situated cottage with fantastic views of the Ironbridge. We wouldn’t usually book a cottage without parking, however I can honestly say in this case it wasn’t an issue. The car park is a very short walk over the iron bridge and with the added bonus of being able to pay online made it extremely easy. The cottage itself was well presented with an authentic Victorian feeling to the decor and furniture. There are a few finer details that could do with attention, for example the outdoor light wasn’t working so arriving after dark in winter required a torch and a few bits of peeling wall paper but this is being very very picky. We would definitely book again!

We had a fabulous few days at the apartment in the centre of Ironbridge. It is in an area we love and it was so special to be right in the centre of Ironbridge itself, overlooking the river and the bridge with its truly spectacular views. We instantly felt at home in the snug and cosy apartment. We had everything we needed and loved our stay. The owner was very easy to contact and extremely helpful. We cannot rate this apartment highly enough and intend to return very soon. Thank you
