Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy a trip up The Wrekin for some wonderful views over the surrounding area. The Shropshire Hills area of outstanding natural beauty is home to the National Trust’s Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd.
Ludlow, as well as being renowned for foodies, has a castle and racecourse plus numerous festivals year round. The medieval town of Shrewsbury is looped by the River Severn where guests can enjoy a boat ride, and the theatre sits proudly on the banks. There is also a selection of activities available nearby including mountain boarding, clay shooting, archery, quad trekking, high ropes and mountain biking. Shropshire is also bordered by Staffordshire, Herefordshire and Mid Wales, and all these areas are ideal for day trips.

A beautiful cottage, quiet and peaceful surroundings, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and cosy, very well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly think of, will definitely return in the near future

Had a great long weekend in Twin Oaks. The property was very comfortable and homely and the location ideal for feeling remote but only a small drive to local amenities. The Indian restuarant close by was particularly good. Our dog throughly enjoyed the large enclosed garden and was a happy pooch from start to finish. We would definitely return.
