Guests say

Waterside Lodge Four is a well-maintained property in a beautiful, natural setting ideal for walks and exploring the countryside. Guests appreciate the clean, spacious accommodation with modern amenities, including underfloor heating and smart TVs. The hot tub is a highlight, though privacy can be a concern. While one review cites cleanliness issues, the majority reflect a positive experience.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean and well-maintained, though there was a significant complaint about the property being dirty, which affects the overall score.

The location is highly praised for its natural setting, proximity to wildlife, and opportunities for walks and fishing, making it an excellent spot for nature enthusiasts.

Guests report the lodge as comfortable, with spacious areas for groups, quality mattresses, and modern comforts like underfloor heating, contributing to a pleasant stay.

The lodge offers a range of facilities including a hot tub and smart TV. However, there are remarks about inadequate kitchen equipment and semi-detached cabins leading to potential noise, slightly lowering the score.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Beautiful lodge , very well maintained. Perfect location for walks and hikes. Short distance to the local bar/restaurant over looking the lake. Would highly recommend .

The WORST experience ever! The lodge was VERY VERY DURTY. The floor WASN'T hoovered or mopped. The carpet was DISGUSTING (never washed, therefore the colour of it was black instead of light grey). The kitchen was NOT equipped adequately, the dishwasher smelled VERY BAD and had no salt or enough capsules to be used during our stay. Between the kitchen towels (nicely fold) was a dead fly.

We enjoyed the stay it’s a great location on the canal - for walks and fishing - hot tub a bonus but proximity to next door wasn’t great as we had loud music being blasted at us. It is a bit of a party place with hen parties and socials but our neighbours respected the curfew.
