In the dining room buffet are two sets of fine china and silver cutlery for those special meals. A separate snug with a leather sofa and TV provides a cosy retreat for some ’me’ time. The large country-style kitchen and adjacent utility room are equipped with top-quality items, including china crockery and Sheffield stainless steel cutlery. Absolutely perfect cottage. So comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. A great base to explore the dales, and wonderful to come back and chill. Hawes is a lovely place with so much to see and do on the doorstep. We had a fantastic family break and would love to come back.

There was plenty of room in this quirky cottage but the decor was rather dated, particularly downstairs. The sofas were overly comfortable.
