In the dining room buffet are two sets of fine china and silver cutlery for those special meals. A separate snug with a leather sofa and TV provides a cosy retreat for some ’me’ time. An amazing well equipped spacious property. The bathrooms/shower rooms were very modern and luxurious. The beds so comfy. Steppe Haugh is perfectly placed for walks in the area. The town of Hawes has something for everyone and as for the chippy- we’ll need I say more. Would love to return sometime.

Lovely quirky cottage, close to town amenities but in a great position, we couldn’t find anything that the owners hadn’t thought of , fully equipped and then some, very thoughtful welcome pack, we loved all the item but especially the cheese and crackers , owners where thoughtful enough to email and inform us that the cottage was ready and we could go in early. Will definitely be booking again and would very highly recommend.
