Located in old Whitby town, on Church Street, one of the most popular streets in Whitby which leads to the 199 steps and Whitby abbey, Annie’s Place is a duplex apartment above the owner’s traditional sweet shop. Situated next door to Arguments Yard, the most photographed yard in Whitby, the apartment has living space on the first floor with the bedrooms on the second. To the front of the property, you have views of the cobbled streets leading to the town, and to the rear you overlook the harbour and West Cliff.
Whitby is great for all age groups and is a very popular all year round resort. There are plenty of vibrant local pubs and restaurants as well as the independent shops and art galleries that adorn the streets into town. It is a bustling fishing town and is one of the most visited resorts in the north of England.
There is a large beach for your children to play on, and it is also a great place to walk your dogs as you have over two miles of beach leading to the next resort of Sandsend. To the north of Whitby you will find the small fishing village of Staithes, and to the south, the popular resorts of Robin Hood’s Bay and Scarborough. Beach 200 yards. Shop 10 yards, pub 100 yards and restaurant 20 yards.

We have been to whitby before, we was on the other side of the bridge. Anne's place is right in the heart of whitby, a lovely cottage that we would love to come back too again. It was lovely to get there and be able to have a coffee, everything was there for you . The cottage was very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. I would highly recommend Anne's place.

This is the 2nd time my family and myself have stayed ar Annies. It is a very comfortable home with everything you need. In a fantastic location with plenty of places for food and drinks around. You can pull up outside to unload and load.I can not fault Annies and it would be top of my list to stay again.

Our third visit to Annie’s, we had a glorious 17 night stay, celebrated my wedding anniversary, my granddaughters 1st Birthday and we also enjoyed the atmosphere of Goth weekend. Annie’s is comfortable, great location, quality home comforts and our favourite base to explore this amazing area. House is inviting upon arrival, smells clean and fresh , lovely views of Church street to watch the world go by.We will definitely return to this charming property which is obviously well cared for by the owners.
