The ground floor also includes a utility room and a convenient shower room.
Upstairs on the first floor, there are two beautifully furnished bedrooms, a double and a kingsize, each equipped with drawers and wardrobes. The furniture throughout the cottage is antique and in keeping with its age and character. A stylish bathroom with a freestanding bath adds a touch of luxury. There’s also a quirky little reading room tucked under the stairs, a little hideaway, for peaceful moments of relaxation. The cottage has been beautifully restored and has everything you need. It also has stunning views from the rear garden. It has some great dog walks on its doorstep, some very steep hills and the local pub is only a fifteen minute walk away. The staff were so friendly and have only taken over the pub recently. We had a lovely meal which was very reasonably priced.Goathland (Heartbeat) is only a twenty minute drive from the cottage as is Whitby.Would highly recommend.

A stay at Arncliffe Cottage offers a truly wonderful experience for those seeking comfort and relaxation. The cottage is exceptionally well-appointed, providing everything you could think of including more and very dog friendly! The stunning location that surrounds the cottage and the breathtaking views serve as a constant reminder of the natural beauty in the area. Everyone we met were so friendly and definitely worth a visit to the village butcher and the Arncliffe Arms. We enjoyed Whitbys fish and chips, York and fossil hunting at Saltwick Bay. Thank you for an amazing week in your beautiful homely cottage, we will be back ! 6 adults and 1 dog.
