Guests say

Arncliffe View is a beautifully renovated cottage in Whitby, praised for its peaceful location, stunning views, and original features. Guests appreciate the well-equipped, clean, and tidy space, alongside the thoughtful touches and modern conveniences. The property is ideal for dog owners and those looking to explore the coast and Moors, though it may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues due to its hilly setting.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and tidy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The location is highly praised for its views and proximity to Whitby and other attractions, though some guests note the hilly terrain and potential difficulty for those with mobility issues.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable, cosy, and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and sofas. However, a few guests mention low roof beams and the need to plan hot water usage.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, free car charging, and underfloor heating. Some minor issues with hot water and a desire for more prominent warnings about low beams slightly affect the score.

While guests express appreciation for the well-equipped cottage and the provision of items like dog throws and a coffee machine, there are no specific mentions of gifts, so it is not possible to score this category.

What a little gem. Everything you might want or need for a few days away. The owners were great, allowing us early access and putting up the Christmas decorations a few days early. Loved the coffee machine so much we bought the same one. 🥳
