We had a great stay in Harebell for a week in August - the biscuits waiting for us on arrival were a nice touch. The cottage was spotless, and the location beautiful - what an amazing place to watch the partial eclipse from! It was a longer walk to the Cleveland Way than we were anticipating from the description and reviews, but we enjoyed our walk to and from Whitby. Having the bedrooms on the ground floor was actually really helpful in the middle of a heatwave as they stayed cooler! Our daughters loved their bedroom and said their beds were very comfortable. My husband and I found the double bed mattress to be a little uncomfortable, but overall the room was a good size and there is lots of clothes storage. The shower (as other guests have said) is great - very powerful! And it was so helpful having a washing machine and tumble dryer/clothes racks available - it meant I could get our beach things and underwear washed and dried before heading home. Thank you!

Outstanding cottage in a great location. Immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. Coastal path to Whitby or Robin Hoods Bay around a 15 minute walk away. We loved the quirky layout and would definitely like to stay again.
