Please note: There is a shallow unfenced pond in the courtyard.. With views of Danby Dale, these detached, former working barns, set on an organic Grade II listed model farm, date back to the 1800s. Bridle paths and cycle tracks abound through the farm to villages tucked away deep in the valleys of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Visit Kirkby Moorside, Pickering, Helmsley and Guisborough inland, and the coastal villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors steam train travels from Whitby to Pickering, passing through ’Heartbeat’s’ village of Goathland. Shops and pub 1 mile.
Dale House (ISH), North Range (ISJ) and Coltus Lands (ISK) can be booked together to accommodate up to 18 guests.

Amazing location and views. Very warm and cosy (actually struggled to turn the heating down!) during our Oct stay. We read that the wifi can be hit and miss but it worked very well for us. Would recommend.

Had a fabulous weekend for my birthday with friends . The cottage was spotlessly clean , very comfortable, well equipped and plenty of room for 6. The log fire and heating kept the cottage lovely and cosy . It’s in a remote setting surrounded by fields and beautiful scenery. We did walk into the village for a pub lunch but both pubs were closed ! This wasn’t mentioned on the pubs website so probably best to ring and check . Overall we loved our stay and would definitely return.
