For something a little quieter, why not take a trip to the less-discover gem of Saltburn by the Sea, a charming, Victorian seaside resort. It was spotless, which in the past has let other cottages down. We got snowed in for two days but as cottage so comfortable it didn't matter too much. Would definitely stay again but maybe at a warmer time of year. Pub nearby which did a lovely Sunday roast and it was warm and welcoming.

There were three generations in our party and each one was catered for. I would love to visit again and really recommend this cottage.
