The cottage was spotless, spacious, warm and well-equipped for a family group of five adults and two young teenagers. The garden was lovely. The road outside was quite busy so we needed to be careful walking from the house. It was a good location for visiting York, the Howardian Hills, Castle Howard, Sutton Bank etc. A great introduction to Yorkshire.
