Celebrated my mums 80th birthday here and what can I say an amazing place, very clean, spacious , and so clean, loved waking up to the horses at the back so nice, being right on the platform didn’t bother me at all, it was nice hearing the trains, best to cab into the city as driving can be a nightmare, but worth seeing the Xmas market and shambles , thank you again for an amazing stay, we will be back

Fantastic house- It's a pity that our stay was short. We will be happy to come back here

Perfectly situated for access to York and surrounding areas. Recommend the train to York as on the doorstep literally and only a few mins away. House was spacious and clean, with all the amenities required for self catering. There are several family friendly pubs which serve food within walking distance too. We will be back!
