Inn Cottage offers a charming and well-equipped base in a picturesque Scottish village, with many guests praising its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to a welcoming pub serving excellent food. The location is ideal for exploring the local area and enjoying scenic walks. While most found the cottage comfortable and homely, some mentioned issues with the main double bed and minor maintenance needs. The kitchen is generally well-stocked, though a few guests noted missing utensils and lack of information. Overall, the cottage provides a pleasant and convenient stay for visitors seeking a relaxing break.
The majority of guests found the cottage spotlessly clean and well-presented, with only a couple of isolated comments about minor odours or slugs. Cleanliness is consistently highlighted as a positive aspect.
The location is frequently praised for its beauty, convenience, and proximity to the pub and local attractions. Some mention traffic noise and parking challenges, but overall, the setting is a standout feature.
Guests generally found the cottage cosy, but comfort is let down by repeated complaints about the main double bed being uncomfortable or too hard. Other beds and the living area are described as comfortable.
Facilities are mostly adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi, and a log burner. However, several guests noted maintenance issues (e.g., mattress, shower, kitchen appliances) and a lack of storage or information.
Some thoughtful touches such as extra logs, basic kitchen supplies, and a meal voucher were mentioned, but these are not guaranteed. The absence of a guest book or local information was noted by several guests.

An excellent week, the cottage is located in a central spot of the village. It is both comfortable and tranquil. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The cottage was perfect for our break away. It's in a beautiful rural village, next door to a lovely friendly pub that serves very good food. It's a short drive to Stirling, Wallace Monumount. I can highly recommend this cottage.

This was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed at. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we were pleasantly surprised to discover it was even nicer in person than in the photos. Its a lovely, comfortable and very functional space. We were really impressed with the owners who were very helpful and really enjoyed the 2 times we ate at the Inn next door, the food was great and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. We always travel with a white noise machine as we have small kids but the noise from the road and pub were minimal so we didnt need it. Its a great location as theres loads of things to do near by and its closer to the bigger cities while being not too far from the family members we wanted to visit. Theres an EV charger just down the road which is super handy too.
